Terms & Conditions

The parties to this agreement are the Company: SUPREME HORSE TRANSPORT

The Client: The individual who booked the transport or any person or persons acting on behalf of and with the authority of the Client.

Where more than one Client has entered into this agreement, the Clients shall be jointly responsible for any costs incurred during the transport of their horse.

  • Whilst we do hold the necessary insurances for a Horse Transport business all Equines and equipment are carried at the owner's risk, all horses should be fully insured by the owner. The Owner of the Equine is responsible to take out adequate risk insurance for their Equine (s).

  • We allow up to 2 bin bag size of belongings to be carried with each horse that is travelling with us. More than one bag will incur a charge at the discretion of the company.

  • All veterinary costs or additional stabling, in excess of that included during the journey, must be covered by the owner.  Should your horse require urgent veterinary attention, and the owner is not contactable, we reserve the right to contact the vet on your behalf, however the owner will still remain under all circumstances entirely responsible for all veterinary or emergency charges incurred.

  • A deposit of £50 is payable at the time of booking transport and the full cost of transport, the amount as originally stated, minus the deposit, will be due not later than 24 hours prior to the pre-arranged collection time. The Company reserves the right to cancel the contract between the Company and the Client in the case of non payment. If the client cancels the transport, the deposit will be non returnable although we do reserve the right to use our discretion on this if there is a significantly serious reason for the cancellation.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the arranged transport date will not be refunded, if a veterinary letter or confirmation to state the horse is not fit to travel can be provided, we will refund 75% of the original cost of the transport paid.

  • The Company will transport the named Equine(s) from the collection address as provided by the Client & deliver to the destination address as provided by the Client. The exception to this is when a horse does not load so we cannot collect and deliver. The cost of the transport service will still be payable since we arrived to carry out the service as arranged.

We reserve the right to postpone and rearrange a transport booking in the case of extreme weather  and weather warnings.

We evaluate the potential risks on an individual basis but ultimately our decision will be based on DEFRA/WATO guidelines.

  • All times given for collection and destination are an estimate, due to environmental factors we cannot give an exact time although we do attempt to minimise the length of each journey.

  • Our drivers or attendants will not handle Equines of a dangerous or damaging nature nor any horses suffering from infectious or contagious diseases or those who have been in contact with such animals. Any losses, injury or damage that is suffered from non disclosure of the fore-mentioned will result in compensation being paid to the Company by the Client.

  • The driver must be given the passport belonging to the Client's Equine (s) prior to loading the Equine. Failure to provide the Equine's passport will result in the Equine not being carried by the Company. An exception to this is only in the case of veterinary urgent care being needed.

  • The Client confirms that the carried Equine(s) do load & travel without concern or without company. It is the Client's responsibility to inform the Company of any concerns.

  • The Client accepts an additional charge of £15 per 30 minutes upon arrival to named collection address by the Client  in the event of the Equine refusing to load after the initial 20 minutes.

  • The Company reserves the right to return the Client's Equine (s) back to the collection address if the driver observes it displaying dangerous or damaging behaviour, either to itself, the property of the Company or persons employed by the Company. The Company reserves the right to refuse to Carry the Client's Equine (s) and any accompanying property if it cannot be done so safely. The Client will not be entitled to a refund.

  • Urgent call outs during the day will incur a charge of £75 and £1.50 per mile round trip. After 6pm and before 8.00 am will incur a call out fee of £100 and £1.75 per mile round trip.

  • We reserve the right to sub contract to another Licensed Transporter for all or part of the journey. Our Terms and Conditions will still apply.

  • The Company will ensure that the 3.5 ton Equine Vehicles used are in roadworthy condition, taxed, serviced & MOT'd.
